Additional services for domestic transport

For domestic transport, you can select several additional features that complement the service.

Additional service features
Installation service Suitable for home-delivered household appliances, home electronics, and computers. In connection with the delivery, appliances are installed in operating condition. The installation service always includes the removal of old equipment for appropriate recycling.
Special handling The item requires special handling when it is fragile or its dimensions exceed 120cm x 60cm x 60cm.
Registration The delivery is only handed over to the recipient or his proxy against signature.
Transport to recycling In connection with the delivery, we remove the replaced equipment or furniture and transport it for appropriate recycling.
Saturday delivery Delivery to the recipient on Saturday by 2 pm.
Payer other than the sender The transport fees and possible additional service fees for the shipment can be paid by someone other than the sender.
Multiple package service A shipment lot (same service) can be sent as a multiple package service when 2–10 items (contract services) are despatched simultaneously by one sender and from one location to one recipient. This does not apply to added-value services 2–5 items.
Cash on delivery Itella takes care of forwarding the sender-specified amount of cash on delivery to the bank account (the bank must operate in Finland) given by the sender.
Cash on delivery delivered to the recipient can be paid upon delivery in cash or with a bank card, which must show the text Pankkikortti/Bankkort or PK/BK (not Credit/Debit, for example). The SEPA-compliant account and reference numbers must be in use by 1 January 2011.

Unpacking

 The item is unpacked in connection with the delivery, and the packing waste is removed.
Storing the recipient's name information The sender can check the name of the recipient on the basis of the delivery ID on the address label.
