Electronic customs clearance – Choose the most suitable service package
Electronic customs clearance has become increasingly common during the last few years with the development of Customs’ information systems and the possibilities offered by new electronic services. The development of customs clearance processes is guided in particular by international and national legislation, which is gradually making electronic customs clearance obligatory.

We offer your company message exchange services for transactions with Customs. The message exchange service includes all the messages with productized customs clearance packages required by Customs for imports, customs transit, exports, and exchange of summary declarations. AREX summary declarations are used for submitting information about goods arriving to and departing from Finland and about third-country goods to be re-exported. Customs makes an electronic risk analysis based on the AREX summary declarations.
Why choose the AREX summary declaration message exchange service?
Summary declarations are used for ensuring that the goods have been presented to Customs before the Customs-approved treatment or use of goods has been assigned and that the goods may be imported to or exported from the Community. With regard to exports, the export system is notified of the physical departure of the goods.

Electronic declarations became mandatory in exports in November 2009. Electronic declaration is possible for companies that have registered as declaring parties in exports.
Why choose the ELEX message exchange service?

Why choose the ITU message exchange service?
The EDI-based ITU message exchange service enables real-time securities and their faster release in connection with the electronic customs clearance and value-added tax invoice submission message. The service is available 24 hours a day.
NCTS – Electronic customs transit
NCTS message exchange service
In the Community's customs transit system, goods can be transported without customs clearance when they are imported into the Community or transported via European Community, EFTA, or Visegrad countries. With the new NCTS system, the transit of goods in these transit procedures can be monitored more effectively than before. NCTS is a central part of the comprehensive overhaul of the Community/joint customs transit system which began in 1997. The new customs transit system was adopted in 2003. Following the implementation of the NCTS system, an authorized exporter submits the transit declaration to Customs electronically with an EDI message.
Why choose the NCTS message exchange service?
An authorized exporter must use EDI-based customs transit. Customs clearance is possible regardless of place and time. The service is available 24 hours a day; and with the NCTS message exchange service, customs clearance is possible without driving through a customs point.
