Itella Stand delivery

Stand Delivery is a delivery method supplementing the slot and box delivery of no-address shipments (Group Delivery, publication). In Stand Delivery, the client’s products are delivered to stands specified by the customer, at the time agreed. The service includes putting the client's product on view in the stand and recycling the old publications in the stand according to Itella’s paper collection process.

Content of the service

The service contains the reception of a bundle batch of no-address shipments (bundles grouped in transport units), transfer hauling of the batch, area transport and delivery to the stands agreed.

Furthermore, the service includes the removal and recycling of the old publications in the stand, and, if the customer so chooses, also a scoop switch in the scoop section of the stand. Scoop switch is included in the price when the scoop is provided as a fixed part of the bundle. The switching of separately delivered scoops is an additional service that carries a fee.

As an additional service, the client can also purchase consumption reporting; that is, information about the number of old publications left on the stands. Stand-specifically calculated number information will be delivered to the client in a summary report.

The client may choose regional or national delivery in Continental Finland (excluding Åland). Regional Stand Delivery refers to the number of stands which are located on the same post centre area as the location to which the publications are supplied. Stands located elsewhere are national.

The client is responsible for the stand, the scoop section and contractual matters concerning the location of the stand.

Delivery Time

The service is mainly provided as an overnight delivery. In the national service, the service level is agreed separately for areas which the publications cannot reach as an overnight delivery.

Maximum Weight

The maximum weight of an individual bundle is 10kg.

More detailed instructions for bundle deliveries are found in the Address, bundling and unitisation guide for batch-sorted mail shipments.

Indications and Codes

A printed bundle tag is attached on each bundle in the printing shop. The address information of the pick-up location (stand) and the work instructions for the deliverer are entered in the bundle tag.

Sending

The publications are batched on a stand-specific basis into standard bundles of 50 or 100 copies.

The service requires a separate contract. Bundle deliveries are left in bundles at a post office, post centre or terminal on business days by 5 p.m.

Pricing

The service price is determined by the applicable price list. The price is impacted by stand location (regional or national), quantity, and the volume and recurrence of the delivered publications, among other things.

Payment Methods

The delivery batch is notified on a delivery list (electronic or printed, the printed option carries a fee).

The service will be invoiced at a weekly invoicing rhythm according to the use.

Itella will only be responsible for delivering bundle shipments which have correct and full address information to the recipients according to the delivery terms. Itella’s responsibility and liability to pay damages and the restrictions of the liability for damages as regards transported bundle deliveries are specified in Itella Corporation's general delivery terms and related product terms.
