Exprès letter

Compared to similar services, Exprès letter is an inexpensive letter service for sending urgent documents and small articles. In several countries, Exprès letters are delivered to addressees through separate express delivery.

Exprès is an additional service to the International Priority letter when Port Payé payment method is used.

An Exprès barcode label should be affixed to items.

Items can be mailed at a postal outlet or picked up by a pick-up service (subject to a charge).

Delivery, contract and product terms

Retaining

If the item cannot be delivered, a notice of arrival will be left with the addressee. The item will be stored at a postal outlet, Poste Restante or P.O. Box for a period ranging from two weeks to two months, depending on the country.

Undelivered items will be returned to the sender. The reason for the failure of delivery will be marked on the item.

Restrictions as to Content

Always send cash, securities, valuables and means of payment as well as gemstones, jewellery, precious metals and other particularly valuable items as an Insured letter. We recommend sending items of particular value as a Registered letter.
