When you inform us of the contents of your item, we can provide you with the right service and tell you about the Itella's liability. Use our letter services for valuable items
- for mail of special importance or value
- when you need proof of having mailed a letter
- when you need proof of the addressee having received your letter
| Postal insurance | Insured items have insurance protection and are transported according to specific security instructions and only delivered to the addressee against a signature. |
| Registation | When you register an item you receive a receipt and the item will only be delivered to the addressee against a signature. |
| COD | Secures payment into your account for an item before it is handed over to the addressee. |
| Advice of delivery | Both the sender and addressee receive a receipt for the item having been delivered to the addressee at a certain time. |
According to Section 19 of the Postal Services Act, Itella has the right to record the entire personal identity number of the addressee and the document from which the number has been taken or verified in the delivery documents of valuable items. The personal identity number may only be entered in documents that remain in the Itella’s possession, and the number or any other identification may not be disclosed to third parties.

Express letters posted on Friday are delivered on Saturday by 2 pm. |
| Maxisize | Send up to 2kg of light and small articles, e.g. binders, large brochures, posters, boxes and bags, easily and conveniently. |
Invoicing customers (invoicing, Pricing service): The required additional service will be added to Priority or Economy letter or Reply mail item.
