In corporate communications, the personal nature of a postcard is a great asset, since postcards attract attention and are always read. They also give a good impression of your company.

Individual cards can also be sent as inexpensive 2nd Class cards, reaching the recipient on the day after tomorrow, or as 1st Class cards, reaching the recipient tomorrow.

Postcards sent as 1st Class items are mainly delivered on the weekday following posting.

Postcards sent as 2nd Class items are mainly delivered on the second weekday after mailing.

Indications and Codes

Senders should write the number 1 on the upper part of the address page of 1st Class letters,  write "Priority" or apply a blue priority sticker on them. You need not make any separate markings on 2nd Class letters or cards.

Sending

You may submit 1st and 2nd Class letters and cards to letterboxes in addition to postal outlets.

  • In locations with two letterboxes, you should put 2nd Class letters and cards in the yellow box, and 1st Class letters and catds in the blue one.
  • If the location only has one letterbox (yellow), you should put both 1st and 2nd class items in that box.

The minimum mailing requirement of 20 items for 2nd Class letter or cards is no longer valid.

Receiving

Postcards are delivered to the addressee’s address.

Payment Methods

Stamp and franking machine. Postcards can also be posted as Priority or Economy letters (PP payment method).

Other Specifications

The address field may only contain the addressee's name and address. Slogans or other catch-phrases are not permitted. A customer number or any other identifier must be placed above the addressee's name.
