iPost letter delivery now implemented using the carbon neutral Itella Green service
The iPost service spares the environment. The iPost paper letters are delivered using the environmentally friendly Itella Green service. In addition, we transfer the data in digital format to the printing center nearest to the recipient and print iPost letters using renewable energy sources.
E-letters have proven to be climate-friendly
According to a study carried out by Natural Interest, the carbon dioxide emissions of the production process of a fully electronic letter are approximately ten times lower than those of a traditionally distributed letter on paper.
The paper process, including distribution, produces carbon dioxide emissions of about 50 grams. An electronic letter produces carbon dioxide emissions of about 5 grams per letter. The emissions generated during the transportation and delivery of Green products are compensated by participating in climate projects.
