FinnKarelia opened its net store in the spring of 2006 to sell wellness products, functional wear for well-being, spa products and the most popular seasonal products.
“Our service must function in a superior manner. We want customers to be able to find our products easily and conveniently. Many people wish to shop online, which is why we need a net store which allows customers to purchase our products on the Web”, says Silja Susia.
Clientèle abroad too
Finnkarelia’s net store was initially launched to serve Finnish-speaking customers, and a few months later, English-speaking clients as well. Itella’s expertise came in handy, particularly for opening the English-language net store.
“Itella had a complete concept that suited our needs, and it helped us to launch our net store rapidly. Together with Itella’s experts we worked out a service concept suitable for international customers. I have been most satisfied with our co-operation”, enthuses Ms Susia.
The net store has attracted a large number of customers and some positive attention. Although the company’s focus is still on traditional stores, the net store has established itself well.
